This notice covers the Site only. It does not cover any Berry Systems product or the data processed there; access to and use of those products is governed by the separate agreement and privacy terms that apply to them.

What we collect on the Site
We collect limited information when you visit the Site:
- Information you choose to send us — anything you include when you write to us using the contact links on the Site, such as your name, email address, firm, and role.
- Usage and device data collected automatically by our hosting and infrastructure provider, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location, used to serve and secure the Site.
The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not load third-party trackers. We do not sell products on the Site, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
How we use it
We use Site information to operate, secure, and improve the Site; to review and respond to your message; to communicate with you; and to comply with legal obligations. A person on our team reads every message. We use your details to respond and nothing else, and we will not add you to a marketing list.
Getting in touch
The “Contact us” and email links on the Site let you reach us. Information you send that way is handled as described in this notice and used to respond to you.
International visitors and EU/UK/EEA users
We are based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, you understand your information will be processed in the US and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies to personal data we process through the Site:
Controller
Berry Technologies, Inc. is the controller of personal data collected through the Site. Where an Article 27 GDPR representative is required, Berry Systems will appoint one; until then, contact us at legal@berrysystems.co.
Lawful bases
We rely on: (a) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site and in responding to your inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)); (b) the steps taken at your request when you contact us (Art. 6(1)(b)); and (c) your consent where we rely on it (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
International transfers
When we transfer EEA, UK, or Swiss personal data to the United States or other countries that have not received an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum / IDTA for UK data). Your EU/UK rights
In addition to the rights in Section 8, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the EEA) or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to appeal a decision. To make a request, contact legal@berrysystems.co. We will respond as required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity first.
Because we do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use analytics or advertising cookies, no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out is needed.
Data retention and security
We keep Site information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls that limit who can view messages — to protect it. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; review their policies separately.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date.
